While claiming races fall at the bottom of the race hierarchy, they make up for the bulk of races at U.S. tracks. All horses in claiming races are “for sale”. Any horse may be claimed for its entered price by any licensed owner. Claiming races have claim amounts that vary, and the higher amounts typically have higher purses.

Claiming experiences are offered at two different investment tiers and in two different geographical pairings. Minnesota/Florida and New York/Kentucky.
Minnesota - Florida
Option 1 - $16K Claim
- 18-5% increments
- 5% down payment of $1,289.00 covers Horse purchase, 2 months estimated expenses on hand
Option 2 - $35K Claim
- 18-5% Increments
- 5% down payment of $2,345.00 covers Horse purchase, 2 months estimated expenses on hand
New York - Kentucky
Option 1 - $25K Claim
- 18-5% increments
- 5% down payment of $1,789.00 covers Horse purchase, 2 months estimated expenses on hand
Option 2 - $50K Claim
- 18-5% Increments
- 5% down payment of $3,179.00 covers Horse purchase, 2 months estimated expenses on hand
